We wanted to pass on our thanks and appreciation for all of the work Michael Hickey did for us this past spring. As first time home buyers, Mike made the process enjoyable, exciting and fun. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, sincere, hard-working and patient real estate agent.

When we interviewed numerous Realtors to represent our home we were not sure what to look for. It became apparent after meeting you both that you were the right choice for us. You came prepared, you knew the market, the town, and had a well prepared and aggressive sales strategy. Your experience and confidence shown through.
The market we sold in was the toughest I have ever seen. I have bought and sold 4 homes and had never seen such a challenging and stagnant market. As we know now, this was largely due to the widespread struggles in the US economy and that everyone had been effected by it during the past 24 months. Regardless of the challenge this posed you never wavered from your commitment to sell our home. You worked extremely hard to market our home, leveraging relationships you had with papers and real-estate publications, using Facebook and the web, and holding numerous open houses.

When my husband came home and told us that we had to move to Colorado thoughts of despair engulfed my head. Five children and a dog, packing, looking for a new home and more importantly selling my existing house was overwhelming. My neighbor suggested I give you a call.

I was sitting at the bar of the Paparazzi restaurant in Concord waiting for a friend to join me. Primary topic on my mind was the need to sell our house in Sudbury and to finalize our planned move to the Atlanta area. I had been seriously considering an assisted for sale by owner approach. As luck would have it, this interesting looking gentleman sat next to me and after a little while we were in deep conversation. Long story short, he convinced me that I should get an evaluation from Lois Krasilovsky, of whom he spoke very highly.
Still doubtful of the wisdom of paying a hefty commission fee to sell a house, I decided to get a market analysis by Lois and some of her competition. Lois’ professionalism and clear command of the market were obvious from the beginning. This, when combined with a better understanding of the marketing expenditures associated with selling a house, and the time and effort commitment which we would not be able to make, the glamour and potential of sale by owner was diminishing.
With Lois’ encouragement we aimed high and settled on a desired sale price. She and her team had us under a strict “Chachki” removal program whereby we eliminated all clutter from the house and prepared it for presentation. We had open houses, and many individual visitors. Some simply drove by and decided not to come in, others spent hours. Throughout the process Lois and her staff communicated well and gave us as much advance notice as possible.
When, in just over a month “the” offer came in, Lois switched gears from marketer to closer. As it happens, the buyers were being represented by a broker from Lois’ office and this allowed open dialogue, with all parties collaboratively focused on finalizing the deal.
In the final analysis, working with Lois was an excellent decision. We got the price we wanted, timing could not have been better coinciding with our Son’s graduation from L-S, and the whole process was as smooth as I can imagine.
